What is Parent Child Interaction Therapy &
Who is it for?
Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based approach that helps parents address challenging behaviors like defiance, tantrums, aggression, and difficulty following instructions.
By improving communication and building positive interactions, PCIT strengthens the parent-child bond and equips parents with practical tools to manage behavior with confidence.
PCIT is most effective for children ages 2-7, but if your child is older or a teen, I also have strategies tailored to their unique needs.
Whether you’re seeking support for younger children or teens, I’m here to provide the tools and guidance to help you build stronger connections and manage behavior effectively.
